I would not say that this is the best way to start a form, though it should work. If you still want to check form.control contents then just move pointer to some trustworthy place and issue thisform.refresh
One general note: usually, quality of UT answers depends on quality of UT questions. I mean, if a question gives orderly information about a problem , then there are lots of people around to jump in with quality answers.
