When we lived in Belton, Missouri (south of Kansas City), our apartment house (two stories) had no basement. During the last storm we "enjoyed" we just watched one tornado pass within a few blocks of us to our east and another pass within about the same distance to our west, at almost the same time. There was one twister above the roof of our building that did not touch down right after the other two moved out of sight. What an event and no where to go.
