Not at all. It is not justice if the wrong person serves the time for the wrong crime. I'm not sure justice requires that the perpetrator dies. I don't see one death for another death (especially if the original death was after intense suffering) justice. I would rather the perpetrator suffer (grievously) for the rest of their lives than had a peaceful death at the hands of the state.
