I have a web form where the user enters data for a news item or an Event item. I need them to enter the date the item will occur. Since the calendar control takes up lots of space if shown all the time is there a control that will allow it to pop up when the user clicks a button? I have seen nice controls where if you click the button you get a date picker and after picking a date it is filled into the textbox. It doesn't look like the mmCalendar control will be able to do this without a bunch of work on my part.

Has anybody done it this way? Are there other free asp.net controls out there for this?
