I think we're forgetting the victims of those vicious murders. Is justice done for them if their murders live?

For me, it wouldn't even come to that point. If someone took the life of someone I loved (my wife, my brother, etc.), I'd 'double-tap' and put two between their eyes. No jury would convict me... ;)
