October 1989 I was living in Monterey and standing in a military dining facility with full glass walls. NEVER AGAIN. When I was young and living in Wisconsin, I watched 3 tornadoes pass over my house (not to mention the UFO). I'll stay here where the hurricanes are thank you :o)

The other types of events I mentioned always had warnings – sometimes several days in advance. For me the anticipation of an event is nerve racking. People that I mentioned this to who have not experienced an earthquake told me that I am crazy. Well, so be it! :)
