And yet I have seen quite a few over my lifetime. Why is that? How come I have been so unlucky? Surprisingly, a friend of mine has a $15,000 telescope and when I've been at his place using the telescope I have not seen anything that couldn't be identified. In fact, I've never seen a UFO in North Carolina period.
>I watch the sky a lot because I'm interested in astronomy and I've never seen a UFO. I used to live near Cley Hill in the UK which was supposed to be a UFO centre (its also near Salisbury Plain which is a major UK military exercise area which I think explains a lot of "lights in the sky").
