In a data file which is stored on an as400 system I have a field that holds a path to a network file. My app is also on the same network. When I run my app and I view the record an ole rich text control is populated with the context of the path field. This also works when a report is generated by appending a general field to the cursor that drives the report data.

My question is how can I make this work if the file that the field path points to is moved from the network server to an as 400 server?
