I'm trying to install a simple COM object on an XP machine being used as a server and make it available to a few other machines. I can instatiate the object on the server and it works fine until I go through the COM+ registration as laid out by Craig Bernston in the May 2001 FoxTalk.

It all seems to work, but then I can no longer instantiate the COM object on the server. I get a "The specified module could not be found" error. If I wipe out the COM+ registration, it works again.

Any ideas? Although XP seems to support this kind of thing, perhaps not so well?

The COM object is an EXE if that makes any difference.
