>>My aunt was murdered. I do not seek revenge. The fact that the human garbage has been put away will have to suffice. Do I feel it is enough? Perhaps not, but killing him gets me nothing, and her even less.

What it does for me is to give me the comfort that at least for the duration, he cannot do this to someone else. It's not a lot, but it's something.
>I'm truly sorry for your loss, but ultimately, this is not about you (or me for that matter). It's your aunt that was murdered, not you.
No, it's not about her either. She's dead. It's about protecting everybody else from him, and it's about him. And for me, it's about how a civilised society behaves. I italicised that because I know there are differences of opinion on that point. We are having such a difference of opinion right here. In my version of a civilised society, society does not condone killing of defenseless people, even if it's a murderer who is being killed. Your version differs, and well, it's the differences that make discussion worthwhile.
>I accept, we have different view on this... obviously
'Obviously'? And I thought we were hiding it so well. ;)
