Thanks for mentioning the ctl32_shorcut project, (now ctl32_menu). It is virtually dead right now, drowned by Windows and GDI+ bugs, you can read more about it in the link you posted, just updated, the "Windows and GDI+ and more" entry on the page.

This is the way we are been driven little by little away from the Windows platform, I got so frustrated the last three weeks over what should have been a no-brainer...
