How on earth am I penalising any kid by handing out miniature coffe crisp bars that are guaranteed not to have peanut contact? I don't know a single kid out there who dislikes coffee crisp chocolate bars.
And why should a child miss all the fun just because he has an allergy to peanuts? That's a little cold, don't you think?
>I don't think I should penalize every childs because of a minority. Sorry, but if a child have an allergy severe enough that the simple fact to receive a (packaged) candy in his bag (he's not even touching it) cause him inconveniences, he should stay home on Halloween night.

>>Kids have died or gone into anaphylactic shock because of mere traces. I don't think it's a question of 'buying into the allergy culture'. These allergies are very real and very serious. Whether they come from the way of life etc, I don't know. Maybe they're genetically produced for all I know. What I do know is that I would not take the chance with other people's children I know nothing about.

>>A guy I work with was stung by a bee one weekend while playing softball. For the next 3 days, his foot was about 3 times it's normal size. I don't think it was because he'd bought into the culture; I think it was because he was allergic to the bee venom
