Thanks for your replies Garrett. It as least gives me hope that this problem can be solved.

Can anyone else confirm that what I am experiencing seems a lot slower than it should be? (opening a project with ~150 VSS controlled files takes 90+/secs across Novell network and 75/secs if opened with all files on local machine).
