That probably either means the < databases > (extra spaces so it's not filtered here) section is missing from the app.config file in your project, or the builder doesn't have permission to access app.config at all. If it's a permission issue, you will probably want to either run as a real admin (not the fake one Vista uses), or right-click on the VS icon and select the option to run as administrator. You can also just create a shortcut to VS and set it to always run as admin. Sorry, I don't have Vista here so I can't give more specific instructions.
