I have a report running from VFP 9 and on the heading is a field to display a variable XFilter_set

It is a global variable that is set on startup. It is also reset every time the main form does a refresh.
I just use code STORE FILTER() TO xfilt on the Refresh one of the fields on the form. The filter does show correctly in that field.

Then I use the Print option that is produced by the standard wizard for quickly building a data input form.

When I run the report the XFilter_set variable is completely different.

For example if the filter is set to CURRENT=.T. it is fine on the form but the report printed shows CfiRt.

If I change filter to STAT=”New” the heading shows SfiTt

I would appreciate any suggestions
