It was probably a mistake to try and get some objectivity using the "scenario," but the whole thing just irked me. No, more than that. I took it personally. I've been out of work and it is not an easy road. You worry and stress the whole time until that job finally comes. You can't enjoy the other things around you. It almost seems that things taste more bland and colors are faded. That sounds dramatic, I know, but anyone who lives month to month knows what I'm talking about. To actually see someone forced into that for such petty reasons was more than I could just let sit.
