Yep, I think the fact that our voice inflection doesn't come through has a lot to do with the flame wars. Something I think is just an off the cuff quip, can be interpreted as me screaming and throwing stuff. Also, people tend to say stuff remotely, they wouldn't dream of saying face-to-face, except for people like you and me.<vbg>
Those two items have a lot to do with the flames, I think, and therefore, I don't get excited when someone appear to be attacking me. As I've said before, as long as they aren't making an attempt at physical confrontation, I can deal with it.
