Hi Rob,

I think so, but let me run it back to you in two ways. First, showing the program's icon in for the executable (in the Windows Explorer) requires that both icon formats are contained in the executable.

Now if you want to have the tables, reports and so on have that icon, that's done through the registry. First, the name associated with the extension. For example, HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.pjx\Visual.FoxPro.Project. Then under the name, you'll find the icon. For example, HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Visual.FoxPro.Project\DefaultIcon. There's a value stored indicating the file the icon is to be extracted from and the offset. Since an executable or DLL can contain a number of icons, the offset indicates which one to extract. It's zero based, BTW.

hth,
George
