I’m building a single image setup file in Installshield 2008–Express Edition using the ‘Microsoft Visual FoxPro 9 Runtime Library’ merge module. During the build I get the error ‘The VFP9R.DLL file is invalid or damaged.” I also have the runtime files in the development folder that Installshield is building from but they are not listed in the “destination computer’s folder” in Installshield. Strangely, when I remove the files from the development folder I get the error ‘Cannot locate the Microsoft Visual FoxPro support library.’ I’m not getting other errors during the build. It’s as if the build is trying to use the runtime files from the development folder rather than the merge module. What’s happening and what can I do to resolve it?
