Driving through fog in the Central Valley is so dangerous and I have done my share of it. It is amazing how the realization of time and distance is affected by driving through fog. Have you gone one block or one mile?

>When I lived in Napa, I had a contract job that lasted a couple of months in Woodbridge. I had to go down Hwy 12 through Rio Vista and past Lodi several days a week. That stretch of highway can be treacherous when the tule fog appears, but luckily for me it never got that bad in those few months I traveled that stretch.

>>I have seen fog so thick that you cannot see the white hiway marker when you open your car door. You can drive past freeway exits and not see then. This type of event occurs without warning but this is the time of year it will happen.
