Adrian Peterson is something else, isn't he? He tore the Bears to shreds a few weeks ago and then outdid himself yesterday. There's actually a reason to watch the Vikings now!

I bet you could have gotten excellent odds on the Packers being 7-1 and the Lions 6-2 halfway through the season.

Another rotten day for the AFC West. They were considered the best division in football at the start of the season.

It was an excellent day for the Bears, one of their best of the season.

I was cheering for the Colts but have to give the Patriots credit. The Colts failed to convert some scoring opportunities and let the Pats hang around. To come back from a 10 point deficit in the fourth quarter, on the road, against a team as good as the Colts, that's a team that never loses confidence in itself. I wish the same two teams could play in the Super Bowl.

Mike Cole didn't quite get his wish about the Colts messing Randy Moss up. More like the other way around. With his speed, leaping ability, and ability to catch the ball, I don't know how any DB ever stops him. And if you double him Brady will make you pay with the other receivers. I still wouldn't mind someone dropping Bill Belichick out of a helicopter but that is a heck of a team.

>The Browns beat the Seahawks 33-30 in overtime with Anderson passing for over 360 yards and Jamal Lewis scoring 4 touchdowns.
>
>Brett Favre brought em back in the 4th quarter, again.
>
>Adrian Petersen rushed for an NFL record 296 yards in a game Minnesota didn't have a chance of winning but did decisively and on the losing Chargers, Antonio Cromartie returned a missed field goal for 109 yards and a touchdown - the longest play in NFL history.
>
>And the Patriots ... my Lord. How good do you have to be to play an imperfect game, less than your best, and beat a team as good as the Colts.
>
>Suck it Osama. While you were huddled in a cave in Where-the-hell-is-thatistan talking to the goats, God was watching football !
