Yes, it's gone back and forth whether the entire deal was real or not. It is not listed on BestBuy.com. Last I heard, a Worst Buy employee leaked an employee sheet to the internet saying there was a mistake in the ad, and the deal SHOULD BE honored. I am waiting for the web site to be updated first though.

>Is this the deal for the 360 ad-on? I heard along with Walmart discounting the Toshiba unit, there was an on-line place discounting the ad-on.

>>>I've been avoiding the HD-DVD/Blu-Ray wars.
>>>
>>>But the wars have just heated up a bit with the Toshiba A2 HD-DVD player being sited at $99 at Walmart. The problem is that this news has gotten far and wide. So you have to be at Walmart in the morning, when the truck arrives to make this purchase.
>>>
>>>Circuitcity.com has it at $129. So it's a little easier.
>>>
>>>Has anyone gone ahead with this here?

>>I have an Xbox 360, and they have an add-on for 180 bucks that is an HD DVD player and also upscales SD DVD's. It also comes with 5 HD DVD's to pick from a list, 2 HD DVD's out of anything, and season 1 of Heroes in HD DVD. That is my Xmas present to myself.
Very fitting: http://xkcd.com/386/
