>>I have a routine which prints a report and following this report another routine sends a Word or Excel document to the printer (using Office automation). Right now, the Word or Excel document always go to the default printer. I want to direct them to the same printer where user selected to print VFP report.

I've wanted the same thing for awhile. It's simple . . . I'd like to let the user print a report and then whatever printer they send it to is the VFP default printer from there on out (which they can change by sending it to another printer). This would work well for my users the great majority of the time. Unfortunately, I don't think you can get this info from VFP (and I'm not aware of a Windows API call that will retrieive it, though there may be one). So we are left with a scenario where the user has to first select the printer to print to, then print the report. Not horrible, but not optimal, IMHO.

Thank you for your input.
