If you know users will have Word installed, the Arial Narrow font is great for squeezing more realestate from a report. Another way to go would to have two fields on top of each other with conditional when clause. For most numbers the condition would be true (under a certain amount) and print normally, if it was over the amount that would fit, it could use a smaller font, or drop the lease siginificant digits.

>I have a numeric field in report with format like 999,999,999,999.9999 as I need to printed. If I make field width long enought everything is ok. but normaly the field values are shorter and I want to make filed widht in report smaller. If I do so ***,***,***,****.**** is displayed.
>How to make this gone (without largening the with of field). I tried with converting the number field to be STR(num_field), but then formating isn't working.
