I think the part that you're missing is that Naomi is not 100% completely blameless in this fiasco.

I'm not sure I would want to hold up someone who did some of the things she did in honor.

Of course this in no way justifies anything that AK and MA have done. They have committed some clearly reprehensible behavior for which there is absolutely no excuse. And I'm not sure that even if they come forward with a reason, as Kevin suggests, they can be excused.

Kind of like those convicted of crimes suddenly finding Jesus while incarcerated. That doesn't intitle them to my forgiveness. And I'm not sure what AK/MA could do now that could endear them to me.
