Every single exe on my system crashes with a C5 immediately upon execution after applying SP2. I built a sample EXE where I put 1 line of code that was

Wait Window "Hello World"

it even crashes. All that is logged is

Fatal error: Exception code=C0000005 @ 11/08/07 11:39:50 AM. Error log file: c:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\VFP\vfp9rerr.log

AppName: hw.exe AppVer: 0.0.0.0 AppStamp:47139f24
ModName: vfp9r.dll ModVer: 9.0.0.5815 ModStamp:4713a718
fDebug: 0 Offset: 0000b9cf

I am running Windows XP SP2 with all Windows Updates. Prior to the installation of SP2 everything was fine. Is there a way to Undo SP2 without reinstalling VFP9 and Reapplying SP1? Obviously I would like to resolve the situation with SP2 but I am at a standstill at the moment.

I would add that I am able to run the projects from the main program within the VFP IDE or by saying DO directly. So, it's definitely a problem with the runtime - vfp9r.dll.

Any ideas?

Jeff
