Hi Kevin,

Many thanks for your advice, this problem turned out to be the fact that a primary key had not been defined in the database and hence when I used the wizard to create the commands only select and insert where created and the SaveDataSet required an Update and Delete.

With MM.NET 2.3, I don't seem to have defaults created for character fields. Is that deliberate?
