In 1992-1993 you couldn't buy a PC before 15:00. Why? Because the national bank would publish the exchange rates around 14:30, so everybody would have to recalculate first. Anyone who was selling anything larger than a toaster has learned long ago that you can't overcharge enough. Apply the rate of your wildest dreams, and add 20% over that just in case, and you still fall short of tomorrow's rates. So any transactions in amounts larger than, say, $50, were conducted between 15:00 and 18:00, as fast as possible, while the prices still had any reality in them.
