I agree. It not only gave it more weight, but it was intended to do so, in my opinion anyway. That in of itself has brought the MVP aspect into it.

It was included in the signature block of the letter and hence gave the letter more 'weight' and that action alone causes the actions of the letter writer to reflect on Microsoft and all other MVPs, like it or not.
