I want to clarify a couple of things, please.
1. When updating SQL Server tables by switching to implicit (manual) transaction (using SqlSetProp( nConn, “TRANSACTION”, 2) and completing transaction with SqlCommit( nConn ), do I need to issue another SqlSetProp() to set TRANSACTION to 1? Or Sql Server automatically switches back to the automatic transaction setting?
2. Is it ok for most of the non-banking (read: non-critical) applications to leave the Sql Server Isolation level to the default (Read committee)?
Thank you in advance.
