The "already" was in the hugely meaningful Judo-US usage, as in "hasn't that been amply illustrated?", "isn't that obvious?".

I'm coming at these threads only piecmeal now, not monitoring them all day, as of old. Thus I get the "over 400 messages" dialogue and have to selectively skim, on interest, pettiness, tennis-bat-back-and-forth-back-atchaz", meandering, etc. So, yeah, not exactly paying close attn. :-)
