The answer is a solid .. it depends.

How much data is being passed from the VFP COM objects to ASP? If it's alot, then go with OLEDB. If not, I would suggest ODBC.

However, performance is rarely a reason to move from VFP to SQL Server. You can usually solve the problems by making sure the queries are fully optimized.
