Married with children is also sent in Norway. I think it's sad that Ed O'Neill, who plays Al Bundy, played so well that most people think he is so stupid, and because of that the film companiew won't give him any important roles. That's a great contrast from Billy Crystal who was in a similar situation. After Soap he had the word "Gay" virtually stamped on his had. But still he managed to get rid of that stamp, and had a great career.

Well, Crystal had a good character on SOAP, he was always one of the more intelligent characters on the show. (I'm guessing that Will's character on "Will and Grace" came about from Crystal's original character).

I admit, it's hard for me to see Ed O'Neill and not think of Al Bundy. I loved that show, especially the early years. I still use some of his lines at home (and get plenty of elbows from my wife).
