I am not sure what a "VFP Lifetime Achievement Award" is. Does it last for the life of the product or the recipient? Often lifetime achievement awards are given when someone has retired and about to die. They may not have received any significant recognition during his/her working career but made substantial contributions.
Imagine receiving a Lifetime Achievement Award for a product that has been on the market for 12 years, received little marketing from Microsoft, and has reached a dead end. In fifty years this should be the talk of the town. :)
TGIF and all of that.
