>I've had limited success using ActiveX controls from various vendors within VFP 5.0a. Microsoft article Q176270 mentions this problem, saying "When you use the TreeView control (comctl32.ocx) in a VFP application, several issues may prevent you from using all the features of the control." For example, drap-n-drop doesn't work using the native control. Their solution is to ceate an ActiveX wrapper control in VB, to encapsulate the native control and implement the desired behavior.

ActiveX support has been improved in VFP 6.0. Also, OLE drag and drop has been added so that it works with things like ActiveX controls and other applications.
