PS3 is definitely the way to go. I was just reading a review of a new Panasonic Bluray player that is 1.1 spec compliant. Kind of, sort of. One aspect of the spec is to have onboard memory.
To accomplish that, the Panasonic player has an SD card slot. But you have to supply the SD card.
