Have you tried to

SET DELETED OFF

and see if you can find the record in the BDC for this table? If this doesn’t help try using

REMOVE TABLE

command even though you already removed it.

I pulled that table out by deleting its object while in MODIFY DATABASE, so when I tried to put it back in, it says that I can't because it is already in the DBC. No, it's not there I tell the dumb machine, but it isn't listening to me.
