I just did... on a bicycle, though, it was a picture perfect day :). I made about 40 shots - the colors were great. Yellows, reds, plus the blue sky (which we don't see too often here) and still lots of dark greens.

I'm simply not willing to wait for ads to finish shouting from MY AMPS so I can watch whatever they offer. Remember the rule that any app which doesn't do anything within three seconds is suspect to be dead, in an endless loop or stuck in a new imaginative way? Why do we have to take care of that, and why do we have two dozen progress indicators in our collective arsenal? Because the regular user has about 3s of patience - if it doesn't do anything in 3s, it's suspect.

And now it's supposed to be beyond suspicion just because it serves me something that WAS NOT IN THE TITLE of the webpage? And I'm supposed to listen to it, or fumble through all the open windows to find the sound slider, or to check whether the tiny player on the page has a mute button (I bet it doesn't)? Mind you, ads are ALWAYS LOUDER than the regular sound. They YELL AT YOU (which is why I write it in caps).

The movie industry has probably lost about a thousand bucks on my family so far, because every time one of us wanted to go see a movie, someone would say "uh no... do you want to sit through 15 minutes of trailers like last time". We only once asked "when does the movie REALLY begin" (yes, 12 to 15 minutes after advertised time) because we really wanted to see the movie.

The last time I tried to rent a tape or a DVD I had everyone leave the room before the ads were finished. I understand people wanting to watch movies at home because they don't want to wait for the ads to finish, but why watch them at home?
