For image manipulation you may want to consider GDIPlusX from VFPx http://www.codeplex.com/VFPX/Wiki/View.aspx?title=GDIPlusX&referringTitle=Home. You may find some additional samples in Cesar Chalom's blog at http://weblogs.foxite.com/cesarchalom. The VFP Image control may be used to with it to display images.

You can also use Web Browser control to display many types of files(not all) in a Form. See http://www.berezniker.com/content/pages/visual-foxpro/view-pdf-vfp-form, for sample code.
