I have recently received a few support calls where code that previously worked with modal forms appearing on top of each other and being truly modal in behaviour are no longer working as expected.
It has become possible, somehow, for a window to appear behind a modal form instead of always on top, and also the button to close which just contains RELEASE THISFORM no longer works.

I had originally thought that this was only on Vista, but I've now seen it on XPSP2 as well.

I've tried searching on here, however this is one of those questions where the search terms are not straightforward, or I've failed, or both.
