I don't quite see it that way. A-J, and M are reserved words. Make no mistake about that.

There was no FUD in my response. I made it quite clear that I had run into problems in the past, and that I no longer try to do things that could potentially cause problems. My standing as an MVP has no bearing on this argument, I merely pointed out facts as they existed. Like I said, I have no problems with single character aliases in SQL SELECT statements simply because I do NOT use them due to past issues. If those issues have been fixed, that's fine, feel free to use reserved words in any way you see fit. It's certainly not my problem if you do.
