While I believe that both products will be viable, I don't think MS will buy either one. With dev's of Calvins's calibre you can be almost certain that he had a running 64-bit version and a PDA-version, even if only to flash out C++ bugs during the compile to 64bit<g>. Also the cost of the 3 developers, some freelancers for every release is the expensive part: testing is, even if it is largely automated. Don't forget, they have to test each new windows release/bugfix, each application offering COM for vfp as well...
