Unfortunately this is a legacy issue that I'd only wish I could change to what you suggest. After all I managed to make it work with multiple users.
Btw, I'm finishing my first project based on MM ASP.NET framework. All I can say -- I should have switched to MM framework earlier. It helps do things better, faster and in more organized way.
