That is completely intentional. I keep my nose out of these political scuffles on purpose. If involving the community in a community award is a political scuffle, then it's no wonder this community is fragmenting.
I really don't have the time to deal with all the scuffles with all the work I have to do. I would rather focus my energies into the parts of the community I consider fun.Which excludes most of the community itself? Tell me I've misunderstood.
And FWIW, I never imagined myself playing the role of Suffragette. ;-)
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us."
