<If we don't consider the comptometer or the abacus, it seems to me that computer history has been made, not repeated. The mainframe was born in the late 50's. Mini's etc, during the 70's. The PC came on the scene in 1982, 25 years ago. The web hit the fan about 12 years ago. Cell phones, PDA's ??? The breaktrhu gap seems to be shortening.
