Actually, "King Research has found that Ninety percent of IT professionals"... which means there's a guy called "Ninety percent" (note the upper case, which can not possibly be accidental) who represents "IT professionals", who must be yet another IT firm.

OK, maybe not a guy, probably a group, judging by the verb not being in singular. But then this one rule has so many exceptions - "windows is shutting down" - that we can't take that to mean anything.
