I researched a free JDBC DBF driver from China years ago and it was nothing but a disaster. It only looked for indexes in IDX files and not CDX files. It was lacking most VFP functions. Updating the VFP table using the driver would cause corruption.

Are you sure you want to proceed down that route? I wouldn't go there in a million years.
