>We had this issue recently. We did a few things so I'm not sure which one was the fix, but we think it was looking for a dll or merge file that was not included in the installation. It did exist in the directory we were installing to, but when running an uninstall/install it would get blown away and then couldn't be found. It was looking for the msi file, but that really wasn't the probelem. Was this installation recently changed?
This laptop is fairly new (3 months), and of course VFP 8 too. The error started only a week or two ago. I have look all over my machine and the network, even the internet and have found nothing. I have tried uninstalling VFP and reinstalling. The problem is still there. Well I guess the search goes on.
