>>I've got a Dell d520. It has 2gb (2 chips) and I'm replacing it with 4gb (2 chips). Problem is I can only find one of the modules. The system says I have 1.99gb, and the module I can find is a 1gb, so I know there is another one there somewhere. I think it's underneath the one I can see, but I can't find a way to get to it. I don't want to force anything. This is the link with the tech information: http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/latd520/en/sm_en/memory.htm#wp999869 Not as helpful as it could be. I'm holding off calling Dell because that is usually a couple hours of hell.

Well, sure, if you read all of them! Ok, just saw the part about removing the keyboard a little while ago and that worked. There was a bit of a scare when I thought I ripped the mini ribbon cable out of the motherboard, but then I saw how it just unsnapped. I've got my 4gb now. Thanks!
