Can you imagine that I heard about this on a conservative talk show?
If you do not care to check the links the Pentagon has demanded the return of some or all of reenlistment bonus paid to soldiers who were wounded in Iraq and not able to fulfill his/her enlistment. In some cases $30,000 is demanded from people without arms or legs.
We had an expression when I was in the Air Force: “Reenlist and enjoy the benefits”!
